Wild Life is a surfing film by Wild Things featuring Kai Ellice-Flint, Ellis Ericson, Jaleesa Vincent,Will Jones, Tamzen Bienefelt, Madi Farrelly, Andy Findlay, Jack Lynch, Sarah Tanooki, Myles Doughman and Nick Melanson.<br /> <br />The plan was simple—post up at a beachbreak somewhere and see how hard we could push the boards. There were fresh models from Gato Herói, BMT, and Ellis Ericson to test. A loose crew of Wild Things friends and family floated down the coast before we had any idea where we were staying. Improvisation is often rewarded! NEW DIG APPAREL https://shop.digbmx.com/collections/APPAREL-AND-MORE<br />-----<br /><br />In the fast-moving, instant gratification obsessed, modern world, the dedication and persistence that is required to film a full video section is even more impressive. This one from latest DIG cover boy, and United team rider, Marius Dietsche is more than just a video - it's his defining imprint on BMX. He wanted something that he could proudly show his grandkids one day, and he's certainly done just that. On the final stretch of the three year process of filming for this video, Marius ended up in hospital for two weeks, in an induced coma, with broken bones, damaged spleen, and bleeding on the brain. And then after being moved to a special recovery unit for two months, he's finally out and can enjoy the fruits of his labour. We couldn't be prouder of what Marius has achieved with this. So we planned a day full of skating at the spot, stuff for tricks, a flea market, tattoos, drinks, and food — as the foundation for a get-together to celebrate this silly little culture of ours.<br /><br />In the end, that’s exactly what it turned out to be. The weather was perfect, and it was sick to welcome locals, friends, and people who took long-ass drives just to hang out for a day. Thanks to the support of local skate shops and companies, we were able to give away boards, trucks, wheels, and other stuff to kids and hand out drinks in exchange for donations..."

There were literally Sakura trees blooming every where you looked. Leo Takayama from Osaka was our guest skater for the tour. We linked up close to our hotel at a nearby plaza with perfect marble blocks. After a full session on the Aka Banks in Asakusa we crossed the bridge to Setagaya at the golden hour where Bonestalone snuck by security and knocked out the first NBD of the trip with a lofty ollie over a 14 stair.
