I'm unboxing all three — the Leggerezza FB, the Japan Pro MT, and the wild Gel-Flexkee Pro 2.0 — breaking down the materials and tech, and I sat down with Trung from Late Nite Stars to talk about why ASICS is quietly one of the best skate shoe brands right now. If you're into raw denim, patina, and gear that's built to look better as it wears in, these were basically designed for you.<br /><br />**What's in the pack:**<br /><br />- **Leggerezza FB (~$100)** — Gino Iannucci's signature shoe, finally in the suede everyone wanted. Slim cupsole with foam in the heel, a warm translucent outsole made to yellow and patina as it wears, super grippy. The comfortable, wearable one.<br />- **Japan Pro MT (~$105)** — ASICS' mid-top, a "Dunk-style" shoe whose lineage (the FABRE Japan S) actually predates the Nike Dunk — the '81 original came before New Balance's and Nike's takes. Soft, flexible egg-crate midsole, "Gurple" grey-purple colorway, suede that's meant to fray and age. One of my most-worn shoes of the year.<br />- **Gel-Flexkee Pro 2.0 (~$130)** — the avant-garde one, and the star. Built for vert with a full TPU toe cap, gel heel, full-length foam, flex cutouts, an extendo tongue you can tuck or cut, and internal *or* external lacing to save your laces.
