Fully Flared is one of the biggest undertakings in skateboarding film history. While most skate films are between 30 to 60 minutes Fully Flared is 90 minutes long.
The slow-motion intro is admired for being both massively creative but also for it being wildly crazy that you'd blow up obstacles in real time as skaters are using them. You can see skaters getting hit in the face with flying debris or getting completely hidden by the dust of the explosions happening. One explosion in particular that has always been watched over and over is Mike Mo's last explosion.
Fully Flared is still considered one of the best skateboarding films of the 2000s, and perhaps ever. The music soundtrack is varied to include hip hop, metal, synth, slow rock, and anything else in between. The editing is made to match the soundtrack impeccably well.
Overall Fully Flared is a solid film that one day may be used in an intro to skateboarding course in a community college somewhere.
