創業100年を超える「木のプロフェッショナル企業」新宮商行様と、FESN森田貴宏がタッグを組み、日本の森が育てた高級希少木材「水楢」を使用した、木製単板スケートボードを開発。100年以上にわたり木材と向き合ってきた新宮商行様にとってスケートボードの開発の新たな挑戦です。
ボードは、北海道小樽市銭函にて住宅内装部材や木製サッシ、玄関ドアなど幅広く、木製品を製造販売している「新宮商行 銭函工場」にて製造。

Shingu Shoko, a “wood professional company” with over 100 years of history, has teamed up with Takahiro Morita of FESN to develop a wooden veneer skateboard made from “Mizunara,” a rare and high-grade Japanese timber grown in Japan’s forests. For Shingu Shoko, which has worked with wood for more than a century, this marks a new challenge in skateboard development.
The boards are manufactured at the Shingu Shoko Zenibako Factory in Otaru, Hokkaido, where a wide range of wooden products are produced and sold, including residential interior materials, wooden sashes, and entrance doors.
A promotional video has been produced by FESN.
