1996年に結成し、現在も精力的に活動を続けるジャパニーズ・ハードコアパンクバンド 「ROCKY&TheSWEDEN」。6年ぶりとなる通算4枚目のアルバム『PUNKS POT HEAD』のリリースを記念して、コラボレーションデッキを発売します。

アルバムジャケットを手掛けた HIROTTON によるインパクトのあるアートワークを全面に落とし込んだ、“フットボールシェイプ”デッキです。シェイプデザインは、横浜の名スケートショップ 「FABRIC」 の小島氏にお願いしました。ストリートからトランジションまで幅広く楽しめる一本に仕上がっています。

“フットボールシェイプ”は、80～90年代にスケートボードの形状が進化する中で主流となった、時代を象徴するシェイプのひとつです。近年は、尖ったノーズとテールによる高い反発性と操作性が再評価され、オーリーやフリップなどのトリックがしやすいことから、ストリートからトランジションまで多くのスケーターに支持されています。

以下は、デッキシェイプを手掛けた小島氏のコメントです。

「1990年代初頭、スケートトリック全盛期の時代に生まれたフットボール型のスケートボード。9.25”とゆとりのある踏み心地でありながら、軽い動きを求めホイールベースは14“・14.5”の２通りが使い分が可能なトリックボードです。ボールライディングからストリートまでオールラウンドなデッキです。」
