About the Air Max 95 🧬

First released in 1995 and designed by Sergio Lozano, the Air Max 95 broke every rule. Inspired by human anatomy, its design featured:

A spine-like midsole
Muscle fiber layering in the upper
Rib-style lace loops
The AM95 was the first Nike model with visible Air in both forefoot and heel, introduced the now-iconic gradient colorway, and blended mesh with synthetic suede for a look way ahead of its time.

Born for performance running but raised by the streets, the 95 became a global subcultural icon—from NYC stoops to UK grime to Tokyo’s underground scene.

Now it’s back with a Cactus Flower twist, infused with Nike SB’s skate DNA.
