For our latest issue, we traveled to Biarritz to take a closer look at the local scene. The area has a strong connection to the skate industry, and naturally, it’s home to many people who are or have been part of it. Photographer Kevin MĂ©tallier is one of them. Especially in the early 2000s Kevin was shooting for numeros magazines and found his own way to travel the world (among others with Bastien Duverdier: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JWtJhiUmBfc and Javier Mendizabal: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q58880RGqAo ). After becoming a father, he slowed down on the travel side and shifted his focus more toward fashion and studio photography. His love for print and analog photography is still going strong, though.
