Metal Gear | Outer Heaven Uprising

This video covers the events of the original 1987 Metal Gear video game for the MSX, made into an anime digital graphic novel narrative experience.

200 km north of the region of Galzburg, South Africa, lay the fortress of Outer Heaven, a fortified state that had been founded by a legendary mercenary in the late 1980s. In 1995, the Western world had received intelligence that warned of a weapon of mass destruction that was supposedly being constructed deep within the fortress. High-Tech Special Forces Unit FOXHOUND, commanded by the legendary soldier Big Boss, sent their best agent, Gray Fox to infiltrate the stronghold. However, days later, contact with Gray Fox was lost, his final transmission consisting only of two words: "METAL GEAR..."

With the goal of rescuing Gray Fox and uncovering the meaning of the cryptic message, rookie operative Solid Snake is sent into Outer Heaven alone.

The rocker on the Dominator Pro is true to the style of rocker on the original Dominator, but with a moderate increase in curve from nose to tail.The bottom contour's concave configuration is a near match of the Dominator 2.0’s concave, with slightly more single concave under the front foot in the Dominator Pro, flowing into a double barrel concave through the fins that transitions to a vee out the tip of the tail. It's for really good surfers or good surfers who want to up their game or want a bit of forgiveness compared to a pure performance shape.​ The rocker on the Dominator Pro is true to the style of rocker on the original Dominator, but with a moderate increase in curve from nose to tail.<br /><br />For Wave Type, The Dominator Pro is a true performance all rounder suited to waves thigh high and above, all the way up into overhead and hollow surf, but does work well in a variety of conditions. Backstrom and Delzer and their newborn baby, Betty, and dog Buddy hit the road in their Toyota Sienna minivan, traveling from Tahoe to Revelstoke chasing snow throughout the peak of the season. Between ski action and landscape scenic of the country's best lift-accessed terrain, subplots unfold—specifically, the ever-changing balance of being a professional athlete and mother and a gender role reversal for her husband as the main caregiver for their daughter. Accompanied by Ingrid's parents, as well, for a large portion of the trip, a third dynamic develops with a generational role as the new grandparents (and parents) introduce the skiing culture to Betty as they did Ingrid.
