This unique meeting took place in Costa da Caparica, Portugal and the objective was simple: deconstruct the seriousness of surfing through a test-drive of “RETRO” boards.🌊
Several national and international shapers were invited to help us better understand the vision of the “RETRO” world that we could meet at Casa Reîa.
Boards of all sizes and shapes were available for test-driving, “shapadas” for the amusement of others, as well as an art exhibition, good music and conversations with influential names of the “Soul surfer” culture to give meaning to this amalgam.
In this episode we are joined by Ricardo Mendes, from Marcado Surfboards, that has an unusual beginning of relationship with surfing and shaping, very strong opinions about sustainability within surfing and board manufacturing and an amazing taste of classic movies!
