This unique gathering took place in Costa da Caparica, Portugal and the goal was simple: to deconstruct the seriousness of surfing through an alternative board test-drive.
Several shapers nacional and internacional were invited to help us understand better the vision within the world of "RETRO" and whom we where able to meet at Casa Reîa.
Boards from all kind of shapes and sizes were available for test drive, made for your enjoyment, as well as an art exhibition, good music and hosted talks along with influential names from the "Soul surfer" culture to make sense of this amalgam.
In this first episode we meet António Mello, a Portuguese shaper who took his time and shared his story with us.
Every Wednesday a new episode premieres on our Youtube channel starring a new shaper, who left his name on the sand of Casa Reîa and the Board Meeting!
