The biggest swell of the year hit Bali yesterday, and we captured a pretty scary moment on one of the largest sets of the afternoon. After an attempted rescue the ski driver was inches from disaster, but just managed to outrun the white-water, albeit minus the passenger. Luckily the surfer didn't appear to be in serious trouble and was finally rescued after the end of the set. <br /><br />The waves were firing all day, with many chargers taking on The Bombie, and Outside Corner later in the afternoon. Previously working with the likes of Modeselektor, JETS, and L-Vis 1990, the artist’s body of work demonstrates her ability to cut through a range of genres, from experimental electronic to high-octane hip hop. Her upcoming album “Out of Heart”, out on 7th October, sees her working again with leftfield production duo God Colony.<br /> <br />Featured as part of Carhartt WIP’s Fall/Winter 2022 campaign, Flohio appears alongside NTS WIP artist Tweaks, London rapper Lord Apex, and the Carhartt WIP skate team in a series of images that zero in on the brand’s roots in music and skateboarding. This isn’t the first time Flohio has collaborated with the brand. Out of nowhere we landed, through our friend Phillipe (@wasfuereslebe), at a festival in the canton of Thurgau. Rock the Frog (the festival), was really "What the Frog" and we randomly met a mate from there, called Jano. He was telling us about a diy in Kreuzlingen (a city nearby) and that we should check it out.<br /><br />The next day we went to this place. We came there and it was like entering in another world. The Cherry bowl, a nice chill area and wild like a little forest, just a really nice place. <br /><br />This DIY is located at the Horst club, which they built with the locals several years ago.<br /><br />It was an honor to skate there and we are very thankful for the nice time we had.<br /><br />About the filmer: Alessandro, a sony vx1000 enthusiast, grew up in the Italian part of Switzerland, now living in Chur, a city in the swiss alps.<br /><br /><br />Adriano: From Portugal, living in Bonaduz, Switzerland<br />Nando: From Switzerland, living in Bonaduz
