DIRT CLODS!!! For the first test of the new Dirt Clods wheels we went overboard to the most severe and harsh terrain we could find on some granite boulders in the California desert. The surface was lumpy and bumpy and pretty much like skating broken glass but the wheels held up great and performed exceptionally. Dirt Clods are All Terrain wheels for the rough streets, ditches and wherever you want to take them and expand your skateboarding world. RAVE Therapy is a music EP composed of an eponymous track recorded by Nicolas Malinowsky and Clara Cappagli (Agar Agar). The inspiration behind all this finds root at the crossroads of introspection, sophrology and meditation. The second track of the EP is a modular version offered by Paul Allard, tweaked up by Nicolas in a slow jungle type of way, boosting progressively your inner excitation until you reach a critical dancefloor fomo.<br /><br />For the video clip, we decided to team up with Wory (@withworldone) for 3D playstation looking modeling, allowing us to integrate Nicolas and Clara as two GTA San Andreas characters. PJ Chapuis handled the editing part.<br /><br />Throughout the fictional RAVE records label, we teamed up with Champion to release the non-fictional merch of the EP. ‘Rides for the Res’ Tohono O’odahm!<br /><br />This event was more than our usual give back. Not only were there new complete skateboards, shoes and safety gear for those in attendance but a ramp build went down too! With the help of Tohono O’odham skateboarders & community alike, the Hawkins Build Co. crew put in rapid work to construct a full sized mini ramp in only a day’s time! The ramp is a new sight amongst the forest of Saguaros on the West side of the Tohono O’odham reservation and we’re thankful we got to play our part in making it it happen!<br /><br />We're grateful to Skatelite, Jake Medders, Alex Soto, Blake Manning, Jason at HLC Dist. The Churchill, Hawkins Build Co., Selina Jesus, Jacob and the Endure crew for helping to make this a reality for the Gu Vo Community.
