Amped to hav you on board Inch!<br /><br />“After a tough year in 2020 due to travel restrictions I made sure to have as much fun as possible this year doing van road trips riding & skating as well as the usual Woodyard session antics. We travelled to some of the UK's best places North and South on the lookout to ride some of the best concrete parks we could find. The summer had been very on and off weatherwise and by no means consistent so trails sessions were hard to get, although every trip we'd gone on we struck luck with good weather. Had some unbelievable trips with the bros and the filming just kind of fell into place, there wasn’t really any stress during filming because it was just good sessions and good times with good friends. Big thanks to Matt Harris who was always down to go out filming and listen to ideas and also big thanks to Damo Wilkinson for always being down to get some clips, and also my housemate Louis Rawlings for some additional clips. The balance of riding with the bros, going out skating and going on surf trips with other friends was spot on this year, and that’s what has made this video work out! The Red Bull Cornerstone Series kicked off the 2021 run at one of St. Louis, Missouri’s most epically unique skateparks—Sk8 Liborius, a skatepark inside of a 165-year old church. <br /> <br />For Men’s, we saw Andreas Alvarez take first place, with Elijah Evans trailing behind a close second and Deano Tull on the heels in third. For the Women’s Division, Rhegan Spiegel took home first. Behind her were Maya Davison in second and Madi Weiner in third.<br /> <br />Maia Weingartner took home best trick with an awesome hippie jump through the bump-to-bar and Drew Nguyen claimed best trick in the Men’s division with a proper front crook nollie flip out down the hubba.<br /> <br />Hot on the heels of St. Louis, skaters of the Midwest gathered at Studio Skate Supply in Kansas City, Kansas for stop number 2 of the Cornerstone series. <br /> <br />In the Men’s division, we saw Manny Maire take top honors with a consistent blend of style and power all day long. Shortly trailing was Andreas Alvarez in 2nd and Cass Hecht coming in at a close 3rd. In the Women’s division, Lilly Goodale came out on top. Behind Lilly were Michaela Alexander in 2nd and Rhegan Spiegel in 3rd.<br /> <br />For Kansas City’s Best Trick, we saw Lucas Delao win with a hardflip back lip in the men’s division and Kayliie DeLaCruz take the cake in the women’s division with a kickflip body varial.<br /> <br />Now in its 3rd year, the Red Bull Cornerstone series invites the Midwest’s top skaters to put together their best runs in the region’s premier indoor skateparks for a chance at a piece of the $25,000 series cash purse! This year’s local qualifier events will be held in Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska and Wisconsin.<br /> <br />The top skaters at each event advance to the Red Bull Cornerstone Final at The Bay in Lincoln, Nebraska on December 5. And it's worth mentioning: The best trick competition is also back this year!
