Disciple of the Stone

DISCIPLES OF THE STONE.
In the silent darkness of the evening, the circle has formed, and the Disciples of the Stone have gathered once again. Something Evil is lurking deep within the cold paved streets. A sense of fear fills the air…Out there, something unknown is moving towards the centre of the circle.
All the disciples are present, standing behind the heavy wooden door.
- Don’t open that door! screams one of the oldest of the disciples, with panic in his voice.
And as he pronounces these words, the old door opens slowly by itself with a moan, revealing darkness and a smell of burned dust and blood. All of the disciples stand there, paralyzed. A gust of wind fills the chilled air. A muffled scream is heard from beyond, sounding like a wounded beast preparing for its final assault
- It’s coming!!
One of the disciples reaches for a rusty old piece of metal, desperately trying to find something to defend himself with.
- What is it?
- I don’t know! says another disciple, with a feel of sheer terror in his trembling voice.
The hypnotic darkness is slowly seizing full control of their minds while blurring their vision, it’s now much too dark to tell what weird entity is crawling in the deadly stillness of the night, but some unseen dark force is fast approaching…
Suddenly a chilling screeching sound is heard and all eyes turn towards the centre of the room behind them. The wooden parquet boards begin to crack. A green smoke escapes out from below the ground, and a beam of intense fire coming from down under is now carving a weird shape on the ceiling, what seemed to be just a line is now turning at sharp angles, the facets reunite, revealing the shape of a diamond into the ceiling surface.
- The Stone has come!
At this exact moment in time, staring at the burning stone, they knew they were all doomed.
