Since 2015 the imprint has explored contemporary music from their homeland and surrounding areas, bringing the world artists such as Altin Gün, Hyperculte, Cyril Cyril, or the French band La Tène. Furthermore, the label unearths rare old music from all corners of the planet, reflecting genres like Sega, Calypso, Spanish Synth Wave, Merengue, folk, and more.<br /><br />For Carhartt WIP Radio Les Disques Bongo Joe founder Cyril Yeterian prepared a show that mirrors the label’s past with music by Mameen 3, Lalalar and Massicot, as well as fresh, soon-to-be-released songs and compositions by Cyril Cyril and the great Columbian avantgarde band Meridian Brothers.
