Matthew M. Williams is the Creative Director of 1017 ALYX 9SM, a brand founded in 2015 and built on fusing subcultural influences with utilitarian experimentation. He brings this same unique perspective to a new collaboration with Stüssy through two distinctive products. There’s both a vibrant, garment dyed tee made of recycled organic cotton, marked with rudimentary archival Stüssy graphics, as well as a co-branded leather hiking boot from Italian footwear brand Roa, sporting an atypical hand-applied, artificially-muddied treatment.
Stüssy / Matthew M. Williams will be available in North America Chapters &
Stussy.com on October 18th, 2019, and globally on October 25th, 2019.
