Since 1967, race teams from all around the world have traveled to Baja Mexico in the hopes of achieving victory in the SCORE Baja 1000. To win means motorsport immortality and being crowned the king of off-road racing.
Baja Adventure provides a true taste of what it is like to get behind the wheel with one of the top race teams vying to capture the title.You don’t race to win the Baja 1000...you race to survive it. When you’re out in the desert with nothing but tequila and gasoline, you are forced to either band together or split apart. There is a saying in Mexico, “Baja always wins”.
For Starwood, things didn’t always go according to plan. Vehicles broke down and a comfortable bed wasn’t always in the cards, but at least the infamous taco stands always offered a necessary respite.
Baja Adventure isn’t just about competition, but rather tells the tale of camaraderie and community that the sacred Baja California Peninsula brings to the world of motorsports. Watch a group of professional racers, sometime masquerading as a band of misfits, in their journey to conquer the unforgiving nature one of the world’s most brutal off-road race.
