Episode 4 of our Paddling Accidents series, in partnership with the U.S. Coast Guard, heads east to Shady Side, Maryland, where kayaker Sean Danielson recounts his harrowing survival experience (and his subsequent rescue) from April 18, during his attempt to paddle to the deeper waters of the Chesapeake Bay in hopes of fishing striped bass. The accident highlights the critical importance of Danielson's choice to wear a life jacket. #paddlesafe
