As a teenager, Bjorn and his Minnesotan family began spending winters in Utah, and this Midwest migration is something he continues to this day with his wife, Kristen, and two sons, Bear and Micaiah. <br /><br />When he’s not filming in the winter he can be found lapping Brighton and Snowbird with his boys, whose stoke for snowboarding inspires his own riding and keeps him youthful. Over a three week period in 2016, the crew – which consisted of skaters from both Carhartt WIP and Russian brand Absurd Skateboards – journeyed over 6000 km, exploring the vibrant cities, vast countryside and burgeoning skate scenes of the world’s largest country. <br /><br />O3EPO, which translates to ‘lake’ in Russian, features Carhartt WIP skaters Igor Fardin, Felipe Bartolomé and Joseph Biais, alongside Absurd’s Tolia Titaev and Gosha Konyshev.<br /><br />Packed into two small cars, the assembled team made it through five time zones, one hundred different skate spots and multiple bottles of local vodka. That same silhouette is being released in two new signature colorways through the lens of adidas Skateboarding. The two signature colorways were designed for Palace Skateboards and adidas Skateboarding team riders and all around London-legends, Chewy Cannon and Benny Fairfax. Each feature perforated premium nubuck, flexible semi-translucent rubber cupsole construction, and a unique molded TPU Heel cage. The overall fit (thin, socklike, tons of boardfeel), the flex of the outsole, and Palace-specific design features (the heel cage and semi-translucent outsole) make the Palace Pros a great choice for skateboarders and non-skaters alike.
