Known for its dangerous winding roads and high-speed mountain descents, the roads above Santa Barbara have become the battleground between the skaters and county law-enforcement, who have used recent accidents to justify a ban on the sport. A while back, we were lucky enough to spend an afternoon at the Zero Skateboards Headquarters shredding with the team and getting a personal tour from The Chief himself: Jamie Thomas. Jamie has been an avid collector of skateboards, shoes, photos, clothing, and general skate memorabilia for decades. After showing us some of his rare items from the early days of Zero (that we totally geeked out on), Jamie told us how in March 2015 he started a website and an Instagram account to trim the fat on his collection and sell off his treasures of skate history. In the last year Garage Days Collection has been successful because of all the skate enthusiasts and skate nerds out there - like us.
