Sometimes we like to showcase products in a new light - or just the best light possible. Our boy Preston Harper decided to do us a solid, and whipped out the old set up to show us what he’s riding. Then he sent us these clips all the way from St. Louis. We always thought he was a fan of big boards, but it turns out he’s more of a mini kind of guy. The final stop of the DC Hit & Run at Whistler-Blackcomb, BC last weekend. The event combined the speed and turns of a traditional banked slalom with the trickery and skills of a slopestyle and pipe event. A rider’s ultimate goal was to get down the course as fast as they can while being judged on three freestyle features (40ft jump, rail section, and a mandatory 2 hit pipe run). The Whistler course was steep with deep smooth bowl turns that had the 80+ competitors more managing their speed than milking for speed.
