Located in Baja California Sur, Mexico, the Los Cabos Open of Surf features the World Surf League Qualifying Series 6000 Women's event at the famed Zippers surf break.

Since 2013, female athletes from around the world have been traveling to Los Cabos in hopes of earning vital points towards their professional surfing career, with hopes of one day qualifying for a spot amongst the elite women competing on the World Championship Tour. With high stakes at hand, and some of female surfing's best athletes in attendance, this year's Los Cabos Open of Surf showcased plenty of action and exciting upsets. This year's event champion, Nikki van Dijk, couldn't be happier to claim the prestigious title.

Though most of the competitors were focused on the trophy and prize money, none could help but enjoy the incredible scenery surrounding their beachside hotels, the authentic food, and consistently friendly local people.
