It’s one of the last skate events for outlaws. It’s free-spirited, real skate culture. Shit will happen and it will be gnarly. There’s no bleachers. There’s no VIP. Denmark is the happiest country in the world. It's clean, orderly and everything works. It’s fun, efficient and beautiful. It’s enough to make you roll your eyes at times. It's that good. It is home to world’s greatest restaurant. It is both ancient and modern. The women are beautiful. Men are cordial. College is free. And it is home to Tivoli Gardens, the amusement park that inspired Walt fucking Disney. And oddly enough it’s the site of the world’s raddest skateboarding gathering: The Copenhagen Pro.
We were able to invade Scando land with Arto Saari as our guide and it was nothing short of life altering. Thanks to Monster Energy for the opportunity.
