Snowskate Base Repair

You've been riding your Ambition snowskate for a while and it's not as fast as it used to be? Don't worry, Mathias will show you a quick and easy way to make it fast as new in only a of couple minutes.

*Only works with Ambition Snowskates

First, you need is a sharp exacto or razor blade. Forget all about waxing Ambition, the base does not take wax. Simply scrape your snowskate from nose to tail, until it is smooth again. Work your way on the flat parts between the grooves one at a time. Don't be afraid to put a good amount of pressure on the blade, it will not harm your snowskate. This will be a bit messy so you might want to do it outside or over a trashcan. Excess plastic will come off as you can see in the video. A few minutes every week and your board will be riding awesome for the entire season!

Il vous faut une lame d'exacto ou de rasoire. Oubliez la wax, ce n'est pas une bonne solution car la base ne la retiendra que pour quelques minutes, ca ne vaut vraiment pas le coup. Grattez simplement la base du snowskate du nose vers le tail avec la lame, pour la rendre lisse à nouveau. N'ayez pas peur de mettre de la pression sur la lame, il n'y a aucune risque pour le snowskate et le résultat sera meilleur. Il faut qu'une mince couche de plastique s'enlève, donc c'est une bonne idée de le faire à l'extérieur ou vis à vis d'une poubelle. Quelques minutes toutes les semaines et votre board sera rapide pour toute la saison!
