Marco Polo was born a-wanderin'. Popping out of the womb in Mexico, he traveled by wagon with hippy parents who made jewellery they sold in markets throughout Central America.<br /><br />The clan eventually set down roots in southern Brasil and after years of ignoring surfing for skating, he was blown away when his older brother "Blue" came home with a trophy from winning a surfing contest. <br /><br />The fire was lit. A local shaper saw the talent straight away and took Marco under his wing. A mere couple of years later he was one of the best surfers in Brasil and an absolute competitive beast.
