Saturday, August 4, 2007 was EXIT real world's 4th annual Skate Classic event in Salem, at Bush Park's soap Box derby track. The EXIT Skate Classic is a contest is meant to celebrate different eras of skateboarding all at once! The four events that were chosen for the 2007 contest were: Downhill Streetcourse, Traditional Slalom (some 70s cruisers supplied), downhill manual (or, wheelie) contest and gap down contest. EXIT's Skate Classic is meant to provide a fun event for skateboarders and spectators of all ages to get together and skate in the same gnar fest! At the 2007 contest there were skateboarders aged 11 years, 44 years and all in between.
