this is a project from a few years ago that i did for a class at uw milwaukee. its a shot for shot replication of the intro by spike jonze in the 1997 girl video 'mouse'. the guys in the vid [my brother and our friend] worked in a a pet store where they found the suit in the stockroom. adam started skating around in it which instantly reminded me of the mouse intro i had always loved. the fact that adam also had a moped sealed the deal, we had to make our own mouse intro. i thought it would be a fun challenge to try to make mine as close as possible to spike's. since i was making it for a video class, my teacher wanted me to change something - which i guess was a good idea. the differences are that its on video instead of film, and rather than having the dog get kicked out of street spots, we had him go to the skatepark. shot in racine, wi.
