Roc City Skatepark is a newly opened skatepark that welcomed visitors on November 5th 2020. Rochester resident and life long skater Alan Presutti worked tirelessly with the city of Rochester to get this skatepark built. Finally, between a federal government grant, a donation from the Tony Hawk Foundation, and city funds the skatepark was finally built for 1.5 million dollars.
The skatepark features a large bowl area, stairs, hubbas, rails and just about anything else a skater would need to have a great time.
The skatepark is public and located right next to the Frederick Douglass-Susan B. Anthony Bridge and besides the Genessee River.
Definitely a park to check out if you're in the area.
