This skatepark is a newly created one. Opened to the public on September 14th, 2019. The city of Ferndale received $250,000 from the Tony Hawk Foundation in 2018 to help build the skatepark.
The skatepark is shaped like a pump track on the outside but with several bowls on the inner side of the park. Opposite of the bowls the park has some street obstacles like rails, hubbas, ledges, and small ramps.
The skatepark is located as part of Geary Park which includes cookout grills, baseball fields, softball, inline rink, pavilions, playground, and soccer fields.
