DIY – Do it yourself. This is the attitude behind “Hullet” which was built by volunteers a couple of years ago. “Hullet” is located between green trees and shrubbery at Østerbro. The bowl is within walking distance from both Ryparken station and Fælledparken Skatepark. The bowl has been moulded in concrete and is constructed professionally when you think about the fact that it is a DIY project. It has a pool coping and a death box made of beer cans (Tuborg – six pacs). The bowl has been designed as a clover with two pockets in the low end and one deep pocket in the deep end. There is a appurtenant hammock and chill-out space  when you go up the stairs, the “entrance” of the bowl. When the bowl was constructed, it was kind of a secret place, however, now,  this is not the case. The people who have made “Hullet” have decided that scooters, BMXers or rollerbladers are not allowed access to the bowl. The decision was made to avoid damages to the bowl. As “Hullet” is a private project, it is the people who built it who have to pay for the maintenance.
