Entre los años 2017 y 2018 se construyó un espigón en Bucalemu, Chile, que implicó una importante inversión para la comuna. <br /> La obra buscaba mejorar las condiciones de trabajo de los pescadores artesanales, pero el resultado fue muy distinto.<br /> La estructura alteró el paso natural de las mareas y provocó que la bahía comenzará a llenarse de arena.<br /> Y con ese cambio inesperado, apareció algo que nadie había previsto: <br />una ola perfecta, Quizás una de las mejores olas creadas accidentalmente por intervención humana en Chile.<br /><br /> Between 2017 and 2018, a breakwater was built in Bucalemu, Chile, involving a significant investment for the municipality.<br />The project aimed to improve working conditions for artisanal fishermen, but the outcome was very different.<br />The structure altered the natural flow of the tides, causing the bay to begin filling with sand.<br />And with this unexpected change, something no one had foreseen appeared:<br />a perfect wave—perhaps one of the best waves accidentally created by human intervention in Chile.
