Since that first project, we've been exploring our island, Gran Canaria, searching for new spots and capturing moments. We only took a break for a few years when I lived abroad, working on different video projects.<br /><br />Returning to the island, after living in different places, felt like returning home. Collaborating on this project with one of my best friends and skate partners has been incredibly special. Marek hails from Malacky, a small town in Slovakia. As a youngster, he relocated to Prague, where he honed his skateboarding skills on the streets day in and day out. Today, he's reached the pinnacle of skateboarding with sponsors like Nike SB, Monster Energy, and more!<br /><br />Back in Prague, Marek used to hit up the legendary Stalinplaza every day, skating from sunrise to sunset. When they couldn't skate due to police trouble or whatever, they'd enjoy a game of dice and some bets. That's why we've come up with this design for Marek's first board at Player.
