You probably know Rob Taro from his work as a videographer, specifically his much-loved @timescan video series, but he is also a talented & well-rounded skateboarder in his own right. Alongside working on last year’s brilliant ‘Timescan 2’ full-length, Rob has been quietly chipping away at an impressive personal project – ‘Believe’ – filmed between between Japan, his home town in New Jersey, as well as NYC, LA & London & featuring a solid roster of guest skaters familiar from Rob’s videos, including the legendary Gou Miyagi.

In Rob’s words:

“I’ve always dreamed of creating a part that connects my two homes – Japan and New Jersey – while also featuring iconic spots from skate videos around the world. But bringing this vision to life is something I’ve always wanted to do, and finally completing it feels unreal.”

Edited by Hans Klein.

Filmed by: Takuya Izumi, Momijman, Ryota Anji, Hitoshi Nagaoka, Shintaro Hongo, Ryo Sejiri, Greg John, Ray Gurz, Hans Klein, Jose Callantes, Nick Mucsavage, Cameron Black, Nando Yiv, Tom Karangelov, Cody Thompson, Kohei Chikira, Asota, William Boardman & Michael Boardman.

Guest skaters: Tom Karangelov, Leo Takayama, Will Nagel, Kazuaki Tamaki, Masaki Hongo, Shintaro Hongo & Gou Miyagi.

Thumb photo: Kenji Haruta.

Music

Dig
Believe

https://www.greyskatemag.com/
