Paul Zenner says thanks with this part – and we say thanks right back, because he’s one of our favorite skateboarders. It’s always a treat to get new footage from him. Even though work and daddy duties limit him to a three-hour window on Sundays, together with filmer Benedikt Schlosser, he squeezed the most out of every session.

Thumbnail photo: Conny Mirbach

More from us:
website // https://bubbleskatemag.com/
instagram // https://www.instagram.com/bubbleskatemag/
tiktok // https://www.tiktok.com/@bubbleskatemag

If you’re looking for more of photographer Friedjof Feye’s work, you won’t find it on Instagram – he’s more of an analog guy. Leo Valls was the driving force behind getting skateboarding legalized in Bordeaux. Out of this initiative grew the Connect Festival, which kicked off last year. It brings together everything from panel talks and workshops to skate sessions on skateable sculptures, parties – and even skate yoga lessons. For the second edition, skateboarders from all over the world gathered in Bordeaux to, as the name suggests, connect, learn how to make cities more skate-friendly, and – first and foremost – have a good time.

Edit: Stefan Schwinghammer

Extra VX Footage: https://www.instagram.com/feugz/

Connect website: https://connect-skaturbanism-festival.com/en/

More from us:
website // https://bubbleskatemag.com/
instagram // https://www.instagram.com/bubbleskatemag/
tiktok // https://www.tiktok.com/@bubbleskatemag

Clement LeGall is one of the top skate photographers out there. Originally from a small town in France, he skipped Paris and went straight to the coast. When he is not traveling around the world shooting photos, he is living the good life in Biarritz, getting up early to surf or catch a skate session himself. As a part of our Biarritz issue, we shadowed Clement in his daily life (and when we say "shadow", we mean literally sleeping in his spare bedroom for two weeks straight.) Bubble is happy to present the first video of brand and crew Churl called "Forget it".

Filmed during the spring and summer 2025, in the south west of france, north of spain as well as Portugal, it mixes street spots, diy's and park in the classic "crew tape" fashion. Tislam Smith is originally from L.A. but lived in Oakland from 2022 to 2025, where he filmed “Camerford” – named after the block he grew up skating with his homies. He’s got a sharp eye for spots off the beaten path and needs clips like someone needs rent on the 28th of the month. He’ll walk off the gnarliest slams and still be smiling mid-splits – and you can see all of that in this part. We were instantly hooked on Tislam’s skating.

More from us:
website // https://bubbleskatemag.com/
instagram // https://www.instagram.com/bubbleskatemag/
tiktok // https://www.tiktok.com/@bubbleskatemag

“I have a lot of principles and I don’t step over those,” says Yannick Wijgman, who runs Public Skateshop in the Dutch city of Arnhem. And it shows in the way he runs his shop – constantly organizing events, out in the streets filming, and pushing the scene as much as he can. On top of that, he’s got a massive video and magazine collection that he shares right inside the shop. For this video, he gave us a tour through Arnhem (and its great spots) and showed us some of his rare collector’s items.

If you want to donate some magazines or videos to the library, reach out to Yannick on insta or write to info@publicskateshop.nl
https://www.instagram.com/public_skateshop/

Get Bubble #2 in your local shop or order it here: https://shop.bubbleskatemag.com/

More from us:
website // https://bubbleskatemag.com/
instagram // https://www.instagram.com/bubbleskatemag/
tiktok // https://www.tiktok.com/@bubbleskatemag

As you may know by now if you got your hands on our second issue, the south west of France is full of young talents skateboarding wise.

Most of them get a taste of skateboarding in the numerous parks that have been built in the region for the past 20ish years, but for some reason only a small fraction of them push themselves out of those, and even a smaller portion of them actually document their street adventures. To be fair can't blame them: the spots are usually rough, on private properties, and quite far away especially if you don't have a car or motorcycle...

Despite all this, Lukas Larrue, a great and upcoming skater (who closed our video "Merci Clem" with a nice front lip in Biarritz) from Tosse, chose to buy a Panasonic camera and filmed his "Les landes" homies. And that is how you get "Always late", an action packed and raw 6 minutes video starring Aaron Pena, Noe Balsamo, Lucien Gourdal and Lukas himself, roaming around their local spot (and a bit of Berlin!)...

Enjoy "Always late", and don't forget to hit those guys up if you ever around the south west of France!

Get Bubble #2 in your local shop or order it here: https://shop.bubbleskatemag.com/

More from us:
website // https://bubbleskatemag.com/
instagram // https://www.instagram.com/bubbleskatemag/
tiktok // https://www.tiktok.com/@bubbleskatemag

For our latest issue, we traveled to Biarritz to take a closer look at the local scene. The area has a strong connection to the skate industry, and naturally, it’s home to many people who are or have been part of it. Lucas Puig is one of them. He moved here a few years ago after falling in love with surfing, and now he can’t imagine life without the ocean. When surfing wasn’t an option on the day of our visit, we joined him for his second water-related hobby: fishing. Afterwards, we tagged along for a session with Lucas’ favorite photographer, Clément Le Gall.

Filmed: Felix Adler / Stefan Schwinghammer

Edit: Stefan Schwinghammer

Get Bubble #2 in your local shop or order it here: https://shop.bubbleskatemag.com/

Mino kids boards // https://www.minoskateboards.com

More from us:
website // https://bubbleskatemag.com/
instagram // https://www.instagram.com/bubbleskatemag/
tiktok // https://www.tiktok.com/@bubbleskatemag

One of them is rolling through Stuttgart with filmer Paul Profröck, alongside Jan Cimander, Arthur Zeibig, Elvis Merkelbach, Julius Christmann, Michael Haeusler and more. The FX Crew squad spent a year stacking clips around their hometown, and got some additional clips in Barcelona, Paris, and Mallorca.
